about

In the 3rd part of these bass Ruminations I'm doing, I incorporated lines from "The Obsolete Man," and one line from "Time Enough at Last," which are Twilight Zone episodes. I took lines I liked and put them in such an order in which to create a new combination of words and meanings.

Watch this episode and other episodes of Twilight Zone to blow your mind!

The harmonic bass part of this song was recorded in a tuning of EF#BG

lyrics

This is not a new world
It is is simply an extension of what began in the old one

Logic is an enemy, truth is a menace

Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of man

That state is obsolete

This year, the next year, and the year after
You are obselete
Lie no man is obsolete
I'm a human being and if I speak one thought aloud that thought lives even after I'm shoveled into my grave

That state is obsolete
Since the beginning of time

This piece in no way reflects the opinions, thoughts, values of anyone involved with The Twilight Zone, I just liked the timbre of the voices and the words they were offering.
